1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and purchase of watches and related products from Cheviot Watches to you, the customer.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.

2. Orders and Payments

  • All prices listed on our website are in GBP and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraudulent activity or incorrect pricing.

  • Payment must be received in full before dispatch.

3. Shipping and Delivery

  • We aim to process and dispatch orders promptly. Many of our products are made to order; therefore, production and fulfilment may take up to four weeks, depending on the availability of components at the time your order is placed. Delivery times may also vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method.

  • Cheviot Watches is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services, customs processes, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Returns and Exchanges

  • You may return your watch within 14 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, provided it is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with proof of purchase.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied.

  • Refunds will be processed once the returned item has been inspected and approved.

5. Warranty

All Cheviot Watches timepieces come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:

  • Water damage (including condensation inside the watch)

  • Damage caused by impact, dropping, or other external forces

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, discoloration, or strap deterioration)

  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications

If a manufacturing defect arises within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the watch at no charge. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

6. Limitation of Liability

Cheviot Watches shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Cheviot Watches website—including images, logos, text, and design—is the property of Cheviot Watches LTD and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
